The search is never-ending and it can be overwhelming to find the perfect pie. From looking for a flawless crust to planning out your schedule to make time for your creation, we at Fannie May® understand how daunting an intense baking session can get.

Because we’d hate to see you struggle, we’ve picked the perfect option for you this pie season! Our Mint Meltaway® Pie is a fluffy mint créme combined with a chocolate graham cracker crust. This will take your breath away. Our popular Mint Meltaways® have a cool, creamy mint chocolate center coated in milk chocolate or green confection which are perfect accents to our delectable dessert. This pie is sure to give a mint-chocolate spin on the dessert table this autumn.

Mint Meltaways® Pie

Ingredients:

Chocolate graham cracker crust:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 sleeve of crushed chocolate graham crackers

 

Pie Filling:

  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4-5 drops green food coloring
  • 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 8 oz. tub extra creamy Cool Whip
  • 1 cup chopped Fannie May’s Mint Meltaways®

Baking Instruments

  • Electric Hand Mixer
  • Rubber spatula
  • Spoon
  • Knife

 

With a hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Next, add the peppermint extract and the food coloring and mix by hand. Finally, stir in the Cool Whip and Mint Meltaways®.

 

If desired, garnished the top with Cool Whip, mini mint chocolate chips, and some extra Fannie May’s Mint Meltaways®.
